HASTINGS-IN-HUDSON, N.Y. The Hastings High School family will celebrate its annual Homecoming weekend, including several alumni events and capped off by a Saturday afternoon football game between Hastings and visiting unbeaten Woodlands scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
The weekend of events begins Friday at 6:30 p.m. with an informal meeting of the Hastings High School Alumni Association at the James V. Harmon Recreation Center on Main Street as part of the association's first Alumni Weekend Friday Night Series.
After the football game and halftime festivities at Reynolds Field, the Alumni Association will host its 10th annual Ronald W. Lindemann Sports Hall of Fame dinner and induction ceremony at the Southside Club from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m.
The Alumni Association will induct Peter Noyes (1962), Mary Ellen (Wright) Forrest (1968), Michael Kontos (1969), Michael Sassano (1996), Brian Nyemchek (1986), Kern Mojica (1996) and, posthumously, Mickey Bless (1956).
