HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Hastings Yellow Jackets will travel to league rival Tuckahoe for a 1:30 p.m. Saturday kickoff against the unbeaten Tigers.

Hastings (1-1) opened the season with a 10-7 victory versus Valhalla but were overwhelmed by Bronxville last Saturday in a 43-0 loss.

Tuckahoe (2-0) has not allowed a point this season, topping Pawling, 26-0, on opening day and defeating Rye Country Day School, 18-0, last Saturday.

Hastings played well at Tuckahoe last year in a 37-22 loss that was close until the fourth quarter.

The Yellow Jackets are led by a strong defense headed by lineman Mike Inciofane, Jesse Greenwald and Chris Minozzi. The Yellow Jackets must stop the Tigers run game to have a chance at a win.

Hastings' quarterback Rob Hevia has a world of talent and played well in a close loss to Tuckahoe last fall in his sophomore season. Running backs Alex Brizer and David Nunez will have to hold on to the ball and gain some yardage to keep the Jackets in the game against a tough Tuckahoe defense.

The Tigers have shown the ability to run the ball well with Nick Reisman and Shyhiem Nixon the 1-2 punch out of the backfield. Reisman has gained 155 yards and scored four touchdowns, while Nixon leads the team with 178 rushing yards in the first two weeks. Quarterback Mike Castracucco runs the Tigers' offense and can pass the ball when needed.
