HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. The Hastings Summer Swim Team is accepting applications from prospective swimmers for the 2012 season as it pursues the Westchester Swimming Conference championship.
Boys and girls ages six to 17 can apply, and the only prerequisite is that applicants be able to swim one full lap in the pool, according to a press release from the Hastings-on-Hudson Recreation Department.
Practices start at the end of June and meets begin in July. Members would have to pay a $75 fee to swim on the team.
