Hastings Rec Hosts 11th Terry Ryan Memorial Run

HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- The Hastings Recreation Department will host the 11th Annual Terry Ryan Memorial Run, formerly known as the Hastings Turkey Trot, Nov. 18.

Dedicated to former local volunteer firefighter Terry Ryan for the last eight years since his passing, the event offers either a 5- or 10-kilometer race or the 1-mile fun run through scenic Hastings streets.

The race, which is open to all runners, begins and ends at the Hastings High School gymnasium entrance on School Street at 1:30 p.m. The fun run begins at 12:30 p.m.

The early registration fees are $15 for the 5K and 10K races; same-day registration is $18. The cost for the fun run is $5.
