HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. The short and long sticks will fly beginning next week when the Hastings Recreation Department hosts Gargoyle Athletics lacrosse camp for boys and girls in the village.
Boys and girls of all ages and skill levels may register for the camps, which will be held at the Burke Estate athletic fields on Farragut Avenue in two sessions; August 1-4 and August 15-18 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.
Campers will need lacrosse sticks and equipment, bathing suits for swimming sessions and money for lunch. The camp is open to Hastings resident at $350 for the week and $90 per day, and to nonresidents for $375 for the week and $95 per day. There is also a two-week special at a cost of $650 for residents and $700 for nonresidents. There is a $25 discount for siblings or players on the Hastings school or recreation teams
