DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. -- William Koki scored with 54 seconds remaining in overtime, giving host Mercy a 2-1 win over the University of Bridgeport in an East Coast Conference mens soccer game Saturday.
This was Mercys second overtime win of the week and a quality victory over a team that is ranked 10th in the East Region.
Mercy improved to 4-1-1. The Mavericks forced overtime when Colin Legge converted a penalty kick with 10 minutes remaining in regulation. Legge was tripped in the box and awarded the kick.
