DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. -- Mercy Colleges Jenna Ausiello was chosen by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association to the All-East region second team.
Ausiello, a recent Mercy graduate, finished her four-year career with an outstanding season. The All-East Coast Conference first-team pick hit .424 with 35 RBI, a .489 on-base percentage and .658 slugging percentage.
Ausiello, who will be playing professionally in Hamburg, Germany, in June, established program records for hits in a season (67) and doubles (22). She also led Mercy to a program-record 25 wins this season.
