Naya Williams Leads Masters School Girls Basketball

DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. -- Dobbs Ferry student Naya Williams is leading The Masters School basketball team. 

Williams, a senior point guard from New Rochelle, led the team in scoring, assists and steals each of the last three years. She recently verbally committed to Georgian Court University in Lakewood, N.J. She is set to sign her Letter of Intent in April 2014.

"Naya feels it is a good fit, she likes the coaching staff of Head Coach Valerie Curtis, and Assistant Coach Matt Smith, who recruited her," said Bryan Williams. "Naya is scheduled to be the starting Point Guard for the 2014-2015 season. she wants to major in Nursing."

As a junior, Naya Williams scored 1,000 points and this year is on course to become the all-time leading scorer in the school's history.
