After the recent reversal of Patriots quarterback Tom Brady’s four-game suspension for his alleged knowledge of footballs being deflated below league rules during the 2015 AFC Championship Game, the Patriots and Goodell’s contentious relationship is once again under focus in the sports world, according to the report.

ESPN is now reporting the extent of 2008’s “Spygate,” in which the New England Patriots were found to have illegally recorded opposing teams’ signals, was far worse than originally revealed.

There may have been a cover-up and burning of additional game tapes shot by the Patriots and that the Brady suspension may have been a make-up call for Goodell and the league's handle of "Spygate."
