This is the second straight NCAA Tournament appearance for the Setters, who also won a share of the NE-10 Regular Season Southwest Division title and carry a 28-14 overall record. As hosts of the NE-10 Tournament and playing at Pace Field in Briarcliff, the Setters defeated conference rival Adelphi 5-2 in the semifinals, before knocking off Northeast Division top seed Southern New Hampshire 7-4 in the championship game.

Sophomore center fielder, Larissa Labs, was named the 2016 Northeast-10 Championship Most Valuable Player after having a spectacular pair of games on Saturday. Labs was joined by sophomore Jaclyn Flores and senior Victoria Quinones on the Northeast-10 All-Championship Team. This follows a week where sophomore shortstop, Ashley Lew, and sophomore, Surina Sandhu, were named to the NE-10 All-Conference First Team. Junior pitcher, Kaitlynn Nelson, earned a spot on the Third Team, and freshman, Annie Carberry, was named to the All-Rookie Team.

The Setters move on to the NCAA East Regional, where they will meet Adelphi again in their first game of the double-elimination tournament. That game will take place on Thursday at Adelphi, beginning at 4:00 p.m.

Additional information will be announced on the Pace Athletics website.
