The boys championship game between host Hastings and Nanuet was postponed until Sunday at noon due to the inclement weather.
The Hastings girls defeated Yonkers High School to win the girls consolation game. The Yellow Jackets ran their record to 5-3 under first-year head coach Alyse LaPadula.
Carissimo was the tournament's Most Valuable Players and Tucci was named to the All-Tournament team as the Horsemen ran past Hastings in the Friday's first round and finished the job with the win over Yorktown in the final.
"It's a great feeling to be 7-1 and to win this tournament," Carissimo said. "We lost two great seniors from last year's team. so we are learning to work together as a team. I think we're getting there."
Tucci said the Horsemen's outside shooting complemented Carissimo's inside play.
"We have some good outside shooters, so we look inside to Daniella and then to making our shots," Tucci said. "We're looking forward to trying to win our league title for the first time this year. We'd like to make the playoffs and get back to the County Center and win a game there."
The Hastings boys are 4-3 and look to win their own tournament against Nanuet Saturday.
