Unbeaten Archbishop Stepinac Football Team Crushes Holy Cross

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Gavin Heslop rushed for three touchdowns the game Saturday as the Archbishop Stepinac football team crushed Holy Cross of Flushing, N.Y., 49-7.

Heslop scored on runs of 48 and 59 yards in the second quarter as Stepinac raced out to a 28-0 halftime lead.

Ty Ennis scored on a 34 yard run in the second quarter. Stepinac’s first touchdown came on a 1-yard pass from Brandon Coleman to Terry Preston.

Heslop added a 59-yard run in the third quarter. Ennis added a 34-yard run and Malik Crawford scored on a 43-yard run.

For the game, Coleman rushed for 34 yards and completed 12-of-15 passes for 142 yards.

The Crusaders (3-0) play at St. Francis Prep of Fresh Meadows on Friday at 7 p.m.
