Hastings' Diep Earns Bronze Medal At Gymnastics State Championship

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- World Cup Gymnastics girls' team participated and earned medals in the 2015 Oncenter State Championship held Friday, April 24 through Sunday, April 26 in Syracuse.

In the Level five 7-8-year-old division, Jessica Reith of Scarsdale was the bars and floor champion and was the bronze medalist on beam.  She finished the competition as the silver all-around medalist.

Level five senior Lily Feldman of Armonk, took home sliver on beam and a bronze medal on vault earning her the bronze All-Around medal.

In the level five 11-year-old division, Karen Sasakura of Mount Kisco, was the bars and floors champion which earned her the bronze all-around medal. Emmy Juenger of Irvington, won silver on floor and Abby Bartlett of Pound Ridge, was the bronze medalist on beam.

Thirteen-year-old Taylor Fox of Valhalla was the all-around silver medalist and earned two bronze medals for vault and floor.

The Level six girls also came away with medals. 

Jordyn Erenfryd of Rye Brook, who competed in the child division was the champion on vault. 

Hastings-on-Hudson native Kate Diep who competed in the senior division was the bronze medalist on floor. 

Carly Vavolizza of Pleasantville, who competed in the junior division, was the silver medalist All-Around and also took home a silver medal on vault and bronze medals for beam and bars.
