With potential thunderstorms looming on the horizon we want to know what kind of backup plans locals have for their weekend plans.
Friday's weather forecast calls for a partly cloudy day with highs in the low 80's. That weather is perfect for stopping by a local farmer's market or other outdoor activities. The weekend gets a little less friendly after that though. Saturday's forecast calls for isolated thunderstorms with highs in the low 80's again, but a 30 percent chance of rain. Sunday is more of the same with the forecast calling for scattered thunderstorms throughout the day with highs in the low 80's. Sunday has a 40 percent chance of rain. With that weather some outdoor activities may be at risk of being cancelled or postponed, such as the Ardsley summer concert at Ashford Park on Saturday night. What do you do for fun when the rain forces you back inside? Going to see a new movie or dining out is a good way to avoid the rain while still enjoying the weekend. Where are your favorite spots in the village when the weather is not cooperating?
