Start Of Spring Storm Now Likely, With Potential For Snow, Strong Winds

It's beginning to look more likely that a region battered by a trio of Nor'easters since the start of the month will soon be seeing yet another one.

The latest Nor'easter is expected to arrive just as spring starts on Tuesday, March 20.

To add insult to injury, the latest storm is expected to arrive just as spring starts on Tuesday, March 20.

AccuWeather.com reported on Thursday morning that there is a "likelihood" for another winter storm for the Northeast early next week.

The strength and magnitude of the impacts are uncertain, but even with a storm of average intensity, there are still likely to be significant, negative impacts on travel and daily activities, AccuWeather.com said.

In addition, there is also the potential for snow and winds that are strong enough to cause more problems after hundreds of thousands in the tristate region have already experienced storm-related power outages the last two weeks.

Sunny days are expected in the days leading up to a potential storm, with daytime highs in the low-40s through Monday.

There is still much uncertainty regarding the storm's strength and track.
