DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. Dobbs Ferry village historian Richard Borkow published a book last year on George Washington in the Revolutionary War and the role local areas played in the battle. The book, George Washington's Westchester Gamble: The Encampment on the Hudson and the Trapping of Cornwallis, has received reviews from various outlets, but one from a British website offered a different perspective.
I appreciate the kind comments of the reviewer, who gives an interesting British perspective on the Revolutionary War in Westchester County and the lower Hudson Valley, Borkow said.
