Hastings Opens Registration For Halloween Window Painting Contest

HASTINGS, N.Y.-- Hastings Recreation has opened registration for the Halloween Window painting contest to be held on Oct. 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The contest is broken into three divisions: Single, Team and Family. The cost to participate is $5 per window for single competitors, $7 per window for teams and $10 per window for family.

The Single and Team divisions will be further broken down into second and third grade, fourth and fifth grade and sixth, seventh and eighth grade.

Registration for the contest will close on Oct. 17. Visit the James Harmon Community Center, at 44 Main Street in Hastings or log on to http://www.hastingsrecreation.org/ to register.
