Middle School Students Visit Dobbs Ferry Nursing Home

ARMONK, N.Y. -- Instead of just collecting candy, students from H.C. Crittenden Middle School in Byram Hills decided to give back this week by sharing Halloween fun with residents of St. Cabrini Nursing Home in Dobbs Ferry.

The students spent Wednesday morning giving out Halloween cards, singing songs and chatting with residents about what they liked about the holiday. The 28 students, dressed as hippies, animals and movie characters, are all members of the school’s VIP/Leo Club – which does a variety of service projects throughout the year.
