How do You Feel About the Holiday Parking?

HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – Those red bags covering the parking meters downtown are a familiar and friendly sight to any local driving through Hastings once the holiday season arrives.  Hastings Mayor Peter Swiderski uses the period of free parking to entice residents to shop local.

“Before hitting the malls or the Internet, consider what you can get downtown,” Swiderski said in a message to residents.  “Parking is free for the 10 days before Christmas and the local shopkeepers appreciate your business.”
