Irvington Honors Responders Who Stopped Assault At Train Station

IRVINGTON, N.Y. -- Three Irvington police officers and the Irvington fire chief were honored by the village on Monday for their efforts in saving a woman's life, according to News 12 Westchester.

Police Officers Ryan Weiss, David Walsh and James Eggoff, along with Fire Chief Chris DePaoli worked together to subdue a man at the Irvington train station who was accused of stabbing the mother of his children with a knife in April, News 12 Westchester reported. 

The three officers received a merit badge while Eggoff was given a proclamation from the mayor, News 12 Weschester said.
