Scorsese, DiCaprio To Film In Ardsley Next Week

ARDSLEY, N.Y. – Ardsley residents may get to glimpse some of Hollywood's biggest names – Leonardo DiCaprio, Matthew McConaughey and Jonah Hill – when parts of Martin Scorsese’s movie "The Wolf of Wall Street" films next week in the village.

Film crews will be in Ardsley for an undisclosed amount of time shooting scenes on a closed set, said a publicist associated with the film.

The movie is based on a 2007 book of the same title by Jordan Belfort. It delves into the true story of Belfort’s life as a New York stockbroker, played by DiCaprio, who creates trouble in a large securities fraud case dealing with Wall Street corruption and organized crime, according to IMDB.

Belfort, who wrote the book after spending 22 months in a federal prison on securities fraud charges, is now a motivational speaker.

The film is expected to take a graphic look at Belfort's partying, drug use and romantic liaisons, according to the Huffington Post. DiCaprio reportedly will appear fully nude in the movie. Parts of the movie are also being shot in New York’s Financial District and at a Hampton’s estate.
