IRVINGTON, N.Y. -- Irvington police have located a person that was reportedly in need of aid Friday that caused roads to be shut down and closed schools for the day, police said.
Cyrus Field Road had been closed during the search, but police said all roads in the area have reopened.
In addition, a report that village schools were closed for two hours is incorrect and that all village schools have been closed for the day even though the individual has been located, police said.
The Irvington Police Department said they would be releasing additional information Friday morning.
