Seen Him? Wanted Tarrytown Suspect Has Been At Large More Than A Decade

New York State Police investigators are seeking the public’s assistance as search for a man who's been wanted for more than a decade after failing to appear in court for a DWAI charge.

An alert was issued this week by state police in Tarrytown regarding Aidan Kelly, 37, who is wanted on a bench warrant for driving while ability impaired by drugs following an incident dating back to 2006 on the New York State Thruway.

Police said that Kelly witnessed an accident on the Thruway on Aug. 23, 2006, and while troopers were investigating and spoke with him, it was determined that he was intoxicated. He was subsequently arrested for DWAI, but failed to appear in court to answer the charges and a bench warrant was issued.

Kelly was described as a 5-foot-10 white male weighing approximately 140 pounds with brown hair and green eyes. Anyone who knows of his whereabouts has been asked to contact state police by calling (518) 436-2825 or emailing CrimeTip@troopers.ny.gov.
