Monday, Sept. 10

Yorktown School Board: 7 p.m. Mildred E. Strang Middle School cafeteria. 2725 Crompond Road.

Yorktown Planning Board: 7:30 p.m. The Planning Board will be meeting to discuss the proposals of Costco, IBM's helipad and more. Yorktown Community & Cultural Center, Room 104.

Tuesday, Sept. 11

9/11 Memorial: 5 p.m. Yorktown's 9/11 memorial will take place at the Shrub Oak Memorial Plaza next to the John C. Hart Library. 1130 E. Main St. 

Advisory Board on Architecture and Community Appearance: 8 p.m. Yorktown Community & Cultural Center, Room 209

Wednesday, Sept. 12

Earring Making Workshop: 6 p.m. Make earrings for yourself and for a battered women's shelter. The program is for adults and teens, and is limited to 30 participants. Register for this program here. John C. Hart Memorial Library, 1130 E. Main St.

Thursday, Sept. 13

Primary Election: Republican, Conservative and Green Party voters will be able to vote in the Assembly primary between Steve Katz (R-Yorktown) and Dario Gristina (R-Putnam Valley).
