All Hastings Schools To Open Monday

HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Hastings-on-Hudson school district announced Sunday afternoon that Hastings High school, Farragut Middle School and Hillside Elementary School would open for classes Monday.

Power was restored to the area including Hillside Elementary School late Sunday to ready all three schools for opening on Monday.

Hillside may not have working phones or internet access. If parents need to contact Hillside on Monday, the district asked that residents call the main district number at 914-478-2900.

Due to road blockages, Hillside students who get bused to school may receive a phone call Sunday night from the transportation company with an alternative pick-up location for your child.

Parent / Teacher conferences scheduled for Tuesday, November 6 and Tuesday, November 13 have been cancelled. Both of those days will now be full days for all students. Alternative plans are being considered to reschedule conferences.
