Irvington Students Raise $620 In Fundraiser To Fight Childhood Cancer

IRVINGTON, N.Y. -- Students from Main Street School in Irvington who are members of one of the Destination Imagination teams at the school, "The Imaginators," raised $620 for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF).

The fourth-graders learned the importance of community service as they made lemonade to fight pediatric cancer.

Team members built and set up a stand in the cafeteria on Feb. 23 and 26 and sold cups of lemonade during lunch.
