Speed or impairment may have been contributing factors in a fatal crash that sent two others to the hospital in Charles County on Monday afternoon, Maryland State Police say. Anthony Ward, a member of the Baltimore Police Department's SWAT team, was killed in a car accident. The department announced Ward's death late Saturday, April 20.
