New Restaurant In Region Hailed As 'Perfect In Every Way'
A new restaurant in the region serving Indian cuisine is getting plenty of praise days into business.
Saratoga County eatery Kati Roll Wala, located in Clifton Park at 309 Clifton Park Center Road, held its grand opening Monday, Oct. 30.
The star of the show is the Kati roll, an Indian layered flatbread wrap typically filled with coriander chutney, egg, and chicken.
Diners can choose from over a dozen such wraps, including the Paneer Tikka Roll, made with Indian cottage cheese, marinated in spicy tandoori marinade, grilled, and wrapped in Indian roti bread.

A new “taco and tequila-inspired” restaurant in the region is hitting the spot for hungry patrons.
Albany County eatery Tipsy Taco Cantina, located in Latham at 704 Loudon Road, held its grand opening on Tuesday, Oct. 24.
The restaurant is a joint venture between owners Robert Tario and Brendan Brader, who also run the Tipsy Moose Tap and Tavern in Albany, Troy, and Latham.
Its menu boasts over a dozen taco creations including with carne asada, shrimp, chicken, chorizo, and pork.

'Out Of This World': New Restaurant In Region Cited For 'Enchanting' Ambiance
A new Japanese restaurant is delighting diners just days after holding its grand opening in the region.
Saratoga County eatery Haru Japanese Steak House, located in Saratoga Springs at 15 Old Gick Road, opened Thursday, Oct. 19.
The site was previously home to a Golden Corral.
Under the direction of owner Tehen Yu, the restaurant offers a wide selection of Japanese fare, including sushi, teriyaki, and udon bowls.
There’s also a hibachi grill, where chefs prepare filet mignon, seafood, vegetables, and other ingredients right in front of you.

Forget the palm trees and year-round beach weather in Florida; it turns out the best place to while away your golden years is right here in the Empire State, according to a new ranking.
The New York village of Lake Success, located on Long Island in Nassau County, snagged the number one spot on Niche’s 2023 list of “Best Places to Retire in America.”
