Police Shoot, Injure Hammer-Wielding Man In Philadelphia: Authorities Officials have released new details in the police shooting of a man allegedly armed with a hammer in Philadelphia last Saturday, April 20.  Authorities said 23-year-old Maurice Samuels was at an East Cliveden Street apartment with two women when he got into an argument and was asked to leave.
