Fairfield County Man Parks SUV In Train's Path In New York, Runs Away, Cops Say
Police in New York say a Connecticut man intentionally parked his Chevy Equinox on train tracks in the path of a CSX train and then ran away only to be caught. The Hudson Valley incident occurred in Ulster County around 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 28, south of the Esopus Avenue railroad crossing in the town of Espous. According to Capt. Joseph Sciutto of the Ulster County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a report of a train hitting a car. Girl, 9, Rescued From Swimming Pool At Danbury Home
A 9-year-old girl was rescued from a Fairfield County swimming pool by a bystander who administered first aid. The incident occurred in Danbury around 3 p.m., Sunday, May 25, at a home on Westwood Terrace. According to Erin Henry, spokesperson for the Danbury Fire Department, the girl, who was unconscious, was recovered from the backyard swimming pool by a bystander. A man has been charged with sexual assault after a female co-worker accused him of multiple incidents. At about 8:20 a.m. Friday, May 24, Connecticut State Police say troopers assigned to Troop H at Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks were contacted by a female airport employee who wished to report a fellow employee who was engaging in sexually harassing behavior toward her.
